WHEREAS, the African Transformation Movement (ATM) is a Social Democratic Peace Party which is committed to serving all citizens through a transparent and accountable government, respecting the rule of law and RSA Constitution, combating corruption, and promoting a modern, inclusive and socially just economy anchored on the fear of God; AND WHEREAS, the ATM is a faith-based Political Party underpinned by divine values and principles of fairness, transparency, freedom, social justice, equality, solidarity, love, forgiveness, reconciliation and accountability;
